On 17 th March, 2014 people across India will indulge in celebrating Holi. On this day, children, youngsters and aged people all come out to enjoy this festival. Being a joyful and colourful festival, this festival is symbol of good over evil. It is also known as festival of love.

It is funny to see how people change according to what is served to them. When people and media were supporting Arvind Kejriwal, everyone seemed to follow him. And, when they stopped doing that, everyone put down their feet!

8 th March, every year is marked as an International Women’s day. This year; as the day came nearer, advertisements were flooded with empowering women campaigns, there were debates happening, movies especially for up-liftment and on strong women were to be telecasted. Of course, many women felt that we do not a single day to celebrate womanhood. And, there were many who just wanted to celebrate it. I being no exception had very neutral viewpoint until this year – when I felt special; thanks to the competition held by Radio One and British Library.

Birthdays have been always special for me. I remember how I used to wait for my birthday to happen. To get hold of all those gifts, flowers, wishes and attention – birthday makes you a star for that day. Your wish is others command.

Keep it open or tie it up. Show off with a dazzling saree or a flowing gown – hairs are best when they can be played with. I have always dreamt of long flowing hairs that can be left open or bun-ed up. As my hairs are already curly and fluffy; they look good with any attire and have never failed me. Yet, I have to keep my hair short and get regular haircuts, as they are very rough and dry. No matter how much I try to keep them in a format, they always blow away.  This problem keeps me away from styling them. Whenever I see full grown and long hairs of my friends, I secretly wish that even I could grow long hairs and play with them. While, watching Dove advertisements, I secretly hope that one day; even I will have such smooth and long hair. Especially the new #DovePlay song is exact replica of my dream to wave them, turn, twist and mold them as I like. If this happens, my dream of many years will come true.
