Image
As I write this post, I am already running late for my challenge of A to Z blogging. What is it? You can read all about it here . When I took up the challenge, I did not knew, I had to face so many things. My laptop broke; I had to travel and what not.  I thought I have to write only one blogpost. How long will it take? The challenge started from yesterday. And I missed the theme reveal too. However, I want to do it systematically. So I am just going to declare my theme for this contest. I am using ‘stories.’ It could be single story throughout the challenge or different stories – for that you have to keep reading my blogpost. But yes, the theme is story!

Coco Cola – Open Happiness

Happiness is a like a bird. The more you chase it, the more it flies away. Do you know why? Because it is a bird, that everyone is born with. It is something that is within us but we fail to understand it. And, spend immense time searching for it here and there. For me, happiness lies in simple things. I have always been a happy-go-lucky girl. I laugh as no one is watching. I dance when I am happy. I still do behave like kid at times to keep the happiness alive inside me. After all, happy people are the prettier people. Image Source I also believe that if you are not happy than you cannot make other happy. So it is your first priority to remain fulfilled and happy throughout. The things that make me happy are simple, basic, and cost nothing. My happiness lies in:

Tea Talks

Friends are awesome. They are there to support you, bring best in you, and rub you in the right way. They take you seriously, your dreams, and strive to make it a reality for you. It is rightly said that friends are your second family and you ought to choose them right. It is  just like a pakka house , firm and  strong  for ever For me, I believe, I am rather lucky to have such supporting and genuine friends. My soul sisters, Anu & Rupita have always been through my thick and thin. Not only that my other close friends, Reema, Shru, and Darshna – they have all been with me when I have felt low or just stop believing in myself. My friendship with each one of them is on different levels and I would say, they have played a vital role in making me what I am today. From crazy and random late night talks to mature decisions of life – we have shared it all.

#StartANewLife - Battling Depression

Image
Loneliness is dangerous. It is a phase where you can easily feel depressed. Loneliness does no good to anyone. It just breaks you down in pieces. Loneliness in my life came at a point when I was not prepared for it. Of course, like any other natural incident, loneliness does not knock before coming. The loneliness phase struck me when my brother shifted to another city for further studies. At that time, we were three people in house – my brother, my dad, and me. My dad, who used to work with The Indian Express as News Editor (now retired) used to return late in night. So after college till my dad returned, I use to be alone. No one to talk too, no one to discuss with. That time was the lowest time of my life. I had grew up in a happy and healthy environment and was never alone for a moment. This loneliness came when I needed to be with crowd, the most.

When she was blessed with Suhana, my joy knew no bounds. I ensured that I stay with her always.

Life Beyond Stars

My inspiration has always been Stars. Since childhood, I would love to stare ate them for long hours. My parent used to say that they would make me an astronaut when I grow up. They have always been my friends when I felt lonely. The twinkling and glittering amaze me and I still stare at them. I always feel that they have something to suggest, say and advice even by being far away from me. The bond with stars grew after my mom’s death. I could always feel closer to her while staring at stars. No, I do not believe that she has turned into a star after her death. But I always feel a spiritual and personal connect with stars. Recently, when I was feeling low as my best friend shifted to another city, the first thing I did was to gaze at the sky. Me and my friend Anu have spent last 8 years together in school and college. When she shifted for job, it was hard for both of us to stay apart. After all, all crazy ideas and reviews, I had to do it with her.
